Denise grew up in the Kansas City area, the daughter of a prominent custom home builder. She attended Johnson County Community College and received an Associates Degree in Accounting and Computers. From there Denise went on to Kansas State University majoring in Art and Journalism. Working summers and weekends for her father, she learned all aspects of home construction and a love for the industry began.

After college, Denise worked in the publishing industry as National Market Director for a builder’s specialty publishing firm, creating custom marketing brochures for builders. She moved into Multi Media Sales as National Corporate Account Representative to Fortune 500 Companies, creating commercial spots, logo and branding pieces and internal communication film. With a strong interest in Multi Media Sales and a love for home construction, Denise joined TLConcepts as Market Manager. She holds Real Estate Licensing in both Missouri and Kansas and stays abreast of real estate market trends.
